Recent enhancements to the Weather Service in 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7 provide better support for custom weather providers. This means that with Java development experience and some knowledge of the Niagara Framework, it's possible to add support for your favorite weather provider and get current and forecasted conditions for anywhere in the world.
